DIGITAL ANTARCTICA
The Digital Antarctica Project of SAPRI aims to offer the public, researchers and other stakeholders a detailed digital representation of the large physical infrastructures utilised within the South African marine and polar research environment, and to share
the 360-degree representation of the South African station on Antarctica (SANAE IV) that already exists within the Antarctic Programme.
These large infrastructures are managed and administered by the Department of Forestry, Fisheries and the Environment (DFFE).
Vessel
S.A. Agulhas II
Get digital access to the South African research and supply vessel, the S.A. Agulhas II.

SAPRI aims to further the digital transformation of the S.A. Agulhas II by supporting the Sound & Vibration Research Group at Stellenbosch University. Digital Twin Technology provides efficient, real-time digital twins of important infrastructure.
Stations
SANAE IV, Antarctica
